Growing through Sharing - Innovative thinking for long term ACCO survival and growth.
A Toolkit exploring alternative income streams for long-term sustainability.
Borthwick and Schulz
This project aims to help ACCOs identify alternative income streams (sources) and increase their financial independence and sustainability. Finding income beyond a reliance on government (and other) funding will allow you to deliver relevant and needed local programs and address these increasing gaps in local community service delivery.
The Toolkit tries to develop innovative thinking within ACCOs for their long-term survival and growth. It is developed as a practical resource package to help build financially viable, resilient, and sustainable organisations. It helps ACCO Boards and Executives of ACCOs explore a range of alternative funding streams using a range of resources, tools and checklists.

The Toolkit can be viewed online but feel free to download the PDF for offline viewing and sharing within your ACCO. The Workbook and ACCO Model Canvas can also be downloaded below.
The Workbook allows ACCOs to capture their organisations relevant information. It is a series of questions and links to to help guide the investigation of income streams towards sustainability.
This Workbook can be downloaded as a Word Document for editing to facilitate the capture of this information.
This Canvas can also be downloaded as a Word Document for editing to capture the big picture view.

We recognise and respect their wisdom, cultural heritage, beliefs and continual relationship with the land. We recognise the importance of the young people who are the future leaders. We acknowledge and respect their past and current contribution to the life of this place.
Indigenous sovereignty has never been ceded in Australia and we are mindful of this in all we do.
